Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 September 2026
1. Who we are
Goalzen ("Goalzen", "the Service", "we", "us") is operated by James Drummond trading as Goalzen. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and James Drummond trading as Goalzen and govern your use of the Goalzen website and application.
By creating an account or otherwise using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate registration details and keep them up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Tell us at [email protected] as soon as you believe your account has been used without your permission.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, and you may not share a single account between multiple people.
3. Free trial and subscriptions
New accounts may be offered a free trial. When the trial ends, continued access to the Service requires a paid subscription on either a monthly or a yearly billing cycle at the prices shown on our home page.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the cycle you have already paid for, and the Service remains available until then. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are non-refundable.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. We may change our prices, and will give you notice before a change applies to your renewal.
4. AI-generated content
Goalzen uses third party large language models to research your goals and to generate suggestions, resource recommendations, action plans and chat responses. This output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
AI output is provided for information only. It is not professional advice - in particular it is not medical, legal, financial, tax or safety advice - and you should not rely on it as though it were. Always exercise your own judgement, and consult a suitably qualified professional before acting on anything that matters. Any links or third party resources the Service recommends are not endorsed or controlled by us.
5. Your content
The goals, tasks, notes, links and files you add to Goalzen remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and transmit that content only so far as is needed to operate the Service for you - including sending the relevant parts of it to our AI provider so that your goals can be analysed.
You are responsible for the content you add, and you confirm that you have the right to add it. Please do not upload anything unlawful, or anything you are not permitted to share.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, harm or defraud anyone;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems;
- interfere with or place an unreasonable load on the Service, including by automated scraping or bulk querying of the AI features;
- resell, sublicence or otherwise make the Service available to third parties;
- reverse engineer the Service except to the extent the law expressly permits it.
7. Our intellectual property
The Service itself - its software, design, branding and content other than yours - belongs to James Drummond trading as Goalzen or its licensors. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service, and nothing more.
8. Availability
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, and maintenance, third party outages or events outside our control may cause downtime. The Service is provided "as is" and, to the extent the law allows, without warranties of any kind.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, James Drummond trading as Goalzen is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, revenue, data or opportunity, or for any decision you take on the basis of AI-generated output. Our total liability arising out of the Service in any twelve month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service during that period.
You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you would not want to lose.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, or where we are required to do so by law. On termination your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your content in line with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change significantly affects you, tell you through the Service or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction - except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your local law.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to [email protected], addressed to James Drummond trading as Goalzen.
